WELCOME TO IMPERIAL BEACH PRESCHOOLS
Our goal is to provide your child with a happy child-oriented environment and to help your child mature emotionally, socially and intellectually. We will assist your child in learning about himself/herself and the world around us in a safe and comfortable atmosphere. We hope to assist all parents in the challenging task of raising happy, well-adjusted children.SCHOOL CALENDAR
The centers are open Monday through Friday from 6:00am to 6:00pm, year round, except for the following holidays: New Year’s Day, President’s Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day or the Monday Following, the Friday before and Labor Day, Veteran’s Day, Thanksgiving and the day after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve and Christmas day. No tuition credit will be given for these days. We require payment for all holidays.
ACTIVITIES
Each day is planned utilizing a well-balanced program of formal and informal instruction, group games, art, music, literature, exploration, supervised free play, snacks, lunch, nap and occasional field trips to points of interest.
NUTRITION
The preschools provide two nutritious snacks daily. Children must provide their own lunch and drink in non-breakable containers. Please mark all lunch boxes and bags. A lunch can be prepared for your child at a cost of $ 3.00 per meal.
CLOTHING
Play is a child’s work. The clothes they wear should be durable, comfortable, inexpensive and washable. A change of clothing must be kept in the child’s cubby as accidents do occur. ALL CLOTHING SHOULD BE MARKED WITH YOUR CHILD’S NAME.
BEDDING
All children on a full day schedule must provide a sheet and a blanket for nap time. These will be sent home at the end of the week for parents to launder.
MEDICINE
This center will not dispense ANY MEDICATION. Sick children must stay home.
